The Pros
- Small, rechargeable and reasonably loud for a home office, kitchen, etc. Also doubles as a bluetooth speaker when needed.
- It’s great for taking room-to-room when doing chores or boring admin tasks. Also great for a spontaneous bout of dancing in the kitchen with the Mrs 💃🕺
- While radio or background sounds/music can significantly improve my mood and productivity, I often just forget. This little orange radio is super hard to miss, so that’s no longer a problem!
The Cons
- I’m likely being nitpicky here, but I would prefer if the dial controlled volume and I could change stations with a button (not vice-versa).
Essa's Tips
- If you struggle with clutter and easily lose things in your space, I’d recommend picking a bright one to help make it easier to find.
- If you are looking to use this only in a single space (like a home office) and/or struggle to put certain things back in place, the portability can be problematic. In this case, I recommend using something like a 3M adhesive strip to keep it in a fixed spot.
- If your day can easily be derailed due to hearing some upsetting world news (thanks hyper empathy!), I’d recommend staying away from stations that do a news update periodically.
